Little Lucky Fish
March 2025

Little Lucky Things is a collection of handmade jewelry, including pendant necklaces and keychains, designed as good luck charms that resonate with a wide audience. This project explores how we attach meaning to objects, particularly those believed to bring fortune, comfort, and optimism. Each piece is carefully carved or engraved with symbols of luck, developed through an iterative process of graphite drawing, printmaking, and lost wax casting. By experimenting with molds and 3D modeling, I examine both the uniqueness of handmade craftsmanship and the reproducibility of cherished designs. Through conversations with my community, I’ve sought to understand why we place belief and trust in lucky objects and how these attachments shape our sense of optimism. My goal is to create jewelry that feels personal—small tokens of comfort that people can hold onto, offering a sense of luck, protection, and sentimental warmth in their daily lives.
